Hi! I'm Andrea Boltwood, Licensed Massage Therapist and owner of MPR Massage.
I’m a true believer in the value of an experience. It’s so important to me to create a massage experience that is tailored to you. That’s why I work with my clients to make sure I understand how you’re feeling and what you need at the time of our treatment. From lymphatic light to deep strong pressure and everything in between, it is my goal to bring what you need to the table.
Chronic neck and shoulder pain might need trigger point therapy - deep, focused work. Headaches can stem from tension in the scalp, face, and neck, and migraines often need a combination of hot and cold therapy. A session with a seasoned lifter, tennis player, or golfer might call for some active release techniques. Prenatal massages can be light OR FIRM! With endless benefits to mother and baby. Feeling anxious? Let’s start with some breath work to allow us to drop into the moment and be present in the time we have. Maybe we do some cupping for connective tissue release without dropping elbows, or add hot stones to boost your experience from ‘relaxation’ to ‘melt into the table’.

Andrea has worked in an acupuncture clinic, medical and wellness spas, and started her own massage therapy business. She is knowledgeable in a myriad of therapies and techniques, including relaxing Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, active release, prenatal massage, lymphatic drainage techniques, cupping, and trigger point therapy. It is the combination of these learned skills and her nurturing nature that allows her the greatest opportunity: to help people heal.
After becoming a mother in 2020, it became clear to her that moms need more support. She hopes to help more women from pregnancy to postpartum period, and throughout their motherhood journeys.
